Common Brake Setup Mistakes
It's easy to purchase big brake kits (BBK) and get the racecar look but many overlook brake bias!
If your bias is too rear-heavy then your rear has a tendency to fishtail left or right even when you're trying to brake straight, your bias should be roughly 70/30.
If your bias is too front-heavy your rear tires aren't assisting with braking as they should, thus limiting stopping distance.
Don't "stance" your car or lower it too much and expect that your BBK will still give you excellent braking, what you've actually done is limit how much rubber is contacting the pavement (A.K.A. a contact patch). Lowering a car to allow for a small amount of suspension collapse can assist in your cornering and braking, but never too much. Research "kingpin axis" to learn more.
